These terms and conditions govern the PC cleaning services provided by Noll Kod.
By proceeding with our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Service Scope & Exclusions

Included in All Cleaning Tiers:

  • Mandatory GPU disassembly for thermal paste renewal (ensuring optimal cooling)
  • Component-specific cleaning (e.g., dust removal from fans, heat sinks, circuit boards)
  • System functionality verification (ensuring PC powers on and basic operation)

Excluded Systems:

  • Custom liquid cooling systems (require specialist assessment and separate quotation)
  • Severely damaged systems (e.g., liquid corrosion, bent PCB components, burn marks – service may be refused)
  • Proprietary OEM systems (e.g., non-standard mounts, integrated coolers, sealed cases – modified reassembly may be needed)

2. Optional Add-Ons

  • Before & After Photos (149 SEK):
    Visual documentation of your PC’s internal condition.
  • Software Optimization (249 SEK):
    Includes Windows and driver updates, temporary file removal, and basic system tweaks.
  • Detailed Cleaning Report (99 SEK):
    Provides a summary of the cleaning process and temperature comparisons (if applicable).
  • Component Inspection Report (99 SEK):
    A comprehensive check of your PC’s hardware health.

3. Warranty & Legal Rights

  • Please be aware that disassembling components like the GPU and PSU often requires removing manufacturer warranty seals on screws.
    Doing so will likely void the manufacturer’s warranty on those specific parts (as per manufacturer terms).
  • Your fundamental consumer rights under §10 Konsumentköplagen (Swedish Consumer Sales Act) remain unaffected.
  • We provide a 30-day guarantee on our workmanship, which does not cover issues that existed before the service.

4. Pre-Service Process

  • Warranty seal documentation (photos will be taken for your records)
  • Stress test (temperature and basic performance benchmarks to assess initial state)
  • Physical condition assessment (level of dust and any visible damage will be noted)

5. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service under the following circumstances:

  • Detection of biohazard contamination within the PC.
  • Evidence of improper prior repairs or tampered safety features.
  • Situations where servicing the PC poses a risk to technician safety.

6. Pricing & Adjustments

Base Price:

  • Applies to standard ATX/mid-tower PCs with a moderate amount of dust.

Surcharges:

  • Mini-ITX systems: +30% of the base price.
  • PCs with extreme contamination: +50% of the base price.
  • Aftermarket or complex cooling solutions: Price will be quoted based on complexity.

7. Issue Handling Protocol

If we detect any of the following during the service, we will pause work and notify you immediately:

  • Failing or potentially failing components.
  • Safety hazards within the PC.
  • Evidence of insufficient cooling.

We will provide documented findings and discuss available repair or upgrade options. Work will only resume upon your written approval.

8. Liability Framework

Our Responsibility:

  • Errors in our workmanship
  • Damage caused directly during our service
  • Correct reassembly of your PC
  • Basic data backup (if explicitly requested and agreed upon)

Client’s Responsibility:

  • Ensuring awareness of OEM compatibility
  • Accepting the potential voiding of manufacturer warranties
  • Providing accurate information about your system
  • Backing up all critical data before service

9. Client Authorization

By proceeding with our services, you confirm that you:

  • Have read and understood all the terms and conditions outlined herein.
  • Grant your explicit approval for the necessary disassembly of your PC components.
  • Accept the possibility of surcharges as outlined in Section 6 (if applicable).

10. Special Cases

  • OEM Systems:
    Due to non-standard designs, modified reassembly procedures may be necessary.
  • Custom Water Cooling:
    Requires a mandatory separate assessment and quotation due to the complexity involved.
  • Extreme Damage:
    Service may be declined after assessment, with a clear explanation of the reasons.
